Critical Safety Notice
Due to the inherent working principle of front-mounted thermal fusion, the thermal image is projected directly onto the photocathode of the image intensifier tube (IIT). Unlike rear-mounted fusion which bypasses the IIT, this method inevitably accelerates IIT aging and increases the risk of burn-in. While this degradation can be mitigated by reducing brightness or utilizing the breathing mode, tube burn-in remains a high-probability event over time. Therefore, users possessing high-value, fragile image intensifier tubes—such as L3 filmless, Elbit thin-film, 4G/ECHO, or NVT7 tubes—are strongly advised to carefully consider this risk before purchasing this product.
